Atomicity a digital lab notebook
Student Experience
Organize Your Research
Our notebook helps students manage scattered data from instruments, photos, TLC plates, etc. Everything is centralized and easy to navigate.
Projects, Experiments, and Attempts
The hierarchy ensures that research is organized:
- Projects: Big-picture research goals, e.g., synthesis of a natural product
- Experiments: Individual steps or targets within a project
- Attempts: Each try, including reagents, solvents, catalysts, containers, and custom entries like "colour" or "unit cell parameters"
Chronological Logs
While organization is primary, you can maintain chronological logs for thoughts and comments, pictures, plots, and chemical structures. Tables can be converted into plots with one click, making data interpretation easier.
Student-Centered Design
Because this notebook is designed by professors who actively listen to students, features evolve to meet real research needs, making the platform flexible and practical for day-to-day lab work.
